2008 CUHWC Abstract Submittal Information
Submit electronically for CUHWC 2008
Abstracts - should be no more than 1,000 characters, commercialism in any form will be rejected; do not include any table, figures or bibliographies. The substance of the abstract should not have been presented or published before.
Submission Deadline - May 15, 2008 Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.
Confirmation of Receipt - An email confirmation will be sent. View and print the confirmation of your submission when received.
Peer Review Process - All CUHWC submissions are peer reviewed by the Technical Committee.
Notification - In June 2008 an email notification will be sent out to each submitter regarding his or her submission status. Notification letters are addressed to the submitting/presenting authors only. If you do not receive this email by June 15, 2008, contact CUHWC staff immediately.
Changes, Cancellations, Withdrawals - The Technical Committee regards a submitted presentation as a commitment to present. If extenuating circumstances prevent the author from making the presentation, it is the author's obligation to find an alternate presenter and to notify the CUHWC. Withdrawals must be made to the CUHWC staff as soon as possible. Under no circumstances can a presentation that has been submitted be changed once the deadline for receipt has passed.
Speaker Registration/Funding - Presenters who have their presentations submitted by July 1, 2008 will have their conference fee waived (one fee waived per paper).
Audio/Visual support - Presentations must be submitted in Power Point. CUHWC will provide computer equipment.
Partners- Abstracts submitted from vendors must be partnered with a college or university representative that participates in a presentation. The college or university partner receives the waived registration fee.
